Born Haddassah, orphaned and in exile, Queen Esther rose to power ruling in the foreign land meant to be a place of captivity. Hadassah means “myrtle tree”. This tree is one that is green year round. It is genetically engineered to flourish despite environmental factors. Its leaves retain nourishment and yield an oil with healing properties. The anointing of this mantle is to prophetically carry the assignment of being chosen by God to deliver His people, His justice and His promises. You are anointed for Divine Generosity or Favor; prosperity and abundance; to impart life in exchange for death; and to be a tool of divine justice in facilitating The Sovereignty of God, Jehovah Sabaoth. We see the revealed state of God as the Lord of Hosts, not only the One who delivers, but also He that judges! You are anointed to rule in the territories God has ordained. You are clothed in beauty and exude meekness. Your strength is immeasurable yet so is your love for God’s will. Your intentions are anointed to break chains and fetters and restore the ordinances of God in the lives of those held captive by demonic structures and systems.
The life of this most uncommon queen is a prophetic foreshadowing of the messiah uniting with his bride. Through Jesus, we are enabled to live the life God has planned as opposed as the one destined by our earthly lineage. Chosen from captivity, it was Queen Esther’s willingness to die for what she knew was God’s will, that The Lord used as “seed” for her great exaltation and the liberation of his people. An entire people destined to die, was saved because of one person’s willingness to be the sacrifice. Her intention alone, God anointed and used it to catapult this unlikely foreigner into the extreme favor of the king, allowing her to rule alongside him and to determine the fate of not only her people, but those who sought to do them harm. Esther 4:14-16 for if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this? Then Esther bade them return Mordecai this answer, go, gather together all the jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.
